1.1 Factory Evaluation (F/E)

FBI’s Factory evaluation focuses on assessing the specific production line that is or will be producing your product. The assessment will assess the quality practice of a product from incoming material, through to every single stage of the production process, including material handling, in-process quality control activities, outgoing QA and warehousing.

The outcome of the evaluation is a thorough manufacturing audit report which includes a risk-based process control analysis of the factory. The report consists of FBI’s s risk recommendations, on-site observations, performance score and high-resolution photos. The report will be used by supply chain and quality professionals make better informed decisions about the finer details of their supplier for factory performance.

1.2 Factory Audit (F/A)

The quality management system (QMS) is a foundational framework that guides organizations to achieve operational and quality excellence through documenting company policies, processes, procedures, and responsibilities. The QMS encourages organizations to adopt a continuous improvement mindset from top management down to the production floor. There are many industry-specific quality management systems, with ISO 9001:2015 being the most recognized and implemented around the world.

Social and ethical compliance refers to how a buyer holds its factories or suppliers accountable for the environmental impact of their production facility and for fulfilling a raft of social responsibility standards. To maintain company integrity, it has become standard practice for companies to conduct social and ethical compliance audits to ensure their entire supply chain meets the required local and/or international standards.
